The Gothic style Cathédrale St-Etienne dominates the city it was started in the 13th century and added to over the centuries, it has many examples of Romanesque art. It is well worth visiting. One of the best museums in the city is the Musée Muncipal de I’ Évêché with one of the largest collections of enamel ware. Some of these examples date back to the 12th century. It also has an excellent collection of Egyptian archaeology and a collection of paintings.

A place to visit where you can relax, have a stroll are the Évêché Gardens, you can enjoy tree-lined walks, admire the lovely flower beds and see thousands of plant species in the botanical gardens from five continents.
